Geo News satellite engineer was killed when its Digital Satellite News Gathering (DSNG) van came under attack by unidentified gunmen in Karachi’s upscale area of Bahadurabad late night yesterday.
According to the police, terrorists opened indiscriminate fire on a Geo News DSNG van in Bahadurabad. DSNG engineer Arshad Ali Jaffery was shot 6 times and the driver Anees was shot twice. Both the wounded were rushed to hospital where Arshad expired during the medical treatment.
Police have started investigations into the brazen terrorist attack on the DSNG van of the private news channel.
