At least four of Afghan intelligence personnel have been arrested in Karachi during a raid conducted by intelligence agencies in the city.
According to security sources, the law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) launched a crackdown on illegal immigrants in Rizvia Colony and arrested four personnel of Afghan army and police.
Pakistan’s intelligence agencies conducted a raid and arrested Afghan secret agents including Amanullah, Aziz, Abdul Ghaffar and Hikmatullah. All of them were living in Pakistan without any documents.
The intelligence agencies kick-started the interrogations with all four arrested men, who belong to Afghan province Ghazni.
A case has been lodged against the four Afghan security officers in Rizvia police station under the clauses of Foreign Act.
Police said the accused were being interrogated about spying, targeted killings of police and other government officials and their links with proscribed organizations.
