Dr Farooq Sattar on Sunday announced to dissolve the Rabita Committee of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).
Dr. Farooq Sattar made the announcement to dissolve MQM-P’s Rabitta Committee and called intra-party elections on February 17 while addressing a gathering at PIB Colony
Under the article 6 of the party constitution, Sattar announced to remove all the conveners and deputy conveners of the party in response to the coordination committee’s decision to remove him.
“They were dreaming of hijacking the entire party but now I dare them to make formulate a new party,” he said. “First there will be intra-party elections and then we will enter the general elections this year,” he affirmed.
“APMSO is also with us,” Sattar said, asking activists to make a final decision what is to be done of the other faction. “We will not opt for a collision, but struggle peacefully.
