Lahore: Chief of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT), Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri, on Monday arrived in Lahore through a flight from Dubai.
A large number of PAT workers were present inside and outside the airport to welcome the cleric-cum-politician who has returned home after seven months.
Tight security arrangements were made by the Punjab government for Dr. Qadri’s security.
The PAT chief would lead a rally of his supporters from the airport to residence in Model Town where he will meet his party office bearers.
The PAT chief left Heathrow airport on Saturday night and reached Dubai on Sunday night from where he reached Lahore.
Qadri is also expected to perform Itikaf in last Ashra of Ramazan.
