A number of seriously injured in Shikarpur carnage were airlifted to Karachi on Friday night.
In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations said”Pakistani military scrambled a C-130 Hercules to Shikarpur on the behest of the federation following a request from the Sindh government,”
The number of injured shifted to Karachi could not be confirmed.
According to sources ambulances were seen outside the air base to carry the injured to the hospitals.
Earlier on Friday a powerful bomb tore through a busy Imambargah , killing 60 people in the country’s deadliest sectarian attack in nearly two years. (Agencies)
