Naheed Khan had filed a petition in the ATC seeking the record of the  former prime minister Benazir Bhutto’s murder case. The court accepted the plea and ordered to provide her the record.

The court also summoned plaintiff Khasif Riaz and the first investigation officer of the case. It also abandoned the testimony of Professor Azam Yousif, the witness of the prosecution.

Meanwhile, in its report, the ministry of interior informed the court that Mark Siegel, an American journalist and key witness in Benazir Bhutto murder case will be available to record his statement through video link on October 01.
