Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA) has identified eight bottled drinking water as being ‘unfit for human consumption’.
The names of the products are: Active, Aqua National, Elight Water, Alpine Hyder, Sparkel Pure, Al-Sana, Aqua Q and Aab-E-Kausar.
These products are neither approved nor licensed by the PSQCA. Purchase or sale of these brands is illegal.
Purchase or sale of the above mentioned water is against the law and the concerned persons/institution/retailers will be liable for punishment under PSQCA Act-VI/1996.
