Three policemen died, and others sustained severe injuries following a deadly road accident near Hyderabad.
“A tyre blowout at Looni Wala Kot caused the police mobile to roll over several times, killing the cops sitting behind, in the passenger cabin,” sources told the media.
The ill fated police van, which was travelling fast on Super Highway before the accident, was part of a squad led by Senior Superintendent of Police Ghotki, who was returning to Ghotki after visiting Karachi.
The casualties were taken to Civil Hospital Hyderabad, where cops Yar Mohammad, Raaz Gul, and Basharat were pronounced dead.
According to sources, the Ghotki SSP remained safe.
