Security forces killed 12 militants in retaliatory action when they attacked their check post in Orakzai Agency early morning today.
Similarly, last month, two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were killed and six others injured when terrorists attacked their check post in Orakzai Agency, while 15 militants were killed in retaliatory action.
Militants mounted an attack on the check post located in Shirindara area, however, were effectively repelled.
“More than 50 militants attacked the check post. Two soldiers embraced shahadat while 15 terrorists were killed in an exchange of fire,” a senior security official said.
