Pakistani cricket presenter Zainab Abbas joyfully announced the arrival of her second baby with a heartwarming Instagram post featuring two adorable photos that captivated her fans.
In her announcement, she affectionately wrote, “Life update: T’s little brother has arrived just in time to ring in the New Year. Haider Hamza Kardar is bringing the family so much joy and love, so do not forget some precious sleepless nights, too.”
The photos showed Zainab glowing as she held her newborn, with sunlight enhancing the tender scene. Another picture captured her first child, born in 2021, holding his little brother with a joyful smile.
Zainab, renowned for her work as a sports presenter, host, and commentator, has become one of the recognizable faces in Pakistan’s sports media. In 2019, she married Hamza Kardar, the son of Shahid Hafeez Kardar, a former finance minister and former governor of the State Bank of Pakistan.
In 2023, Zainab’s departure from India stirred significant attention online, drawing widespread support for her. She had been in India as part of the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) panel for the Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. Still, she reportedly left after a local lawyer filed a complaint accusing her of making “anti-Hindu” statements. This incident led to a strong public outcry against the Indian authorities’ handling of the situation.
