After becoming caught on a slide in front of her kid, Sara Lockett, 25, from Washington DC, dropped 62 kg.
Ms. Lockett recalled the experience and told Caters News, “Once, my kid was too afraid to go down the slide alone and asked us to accompany him. I attempted to follow him, but when the slide curved, I caught it and could not go anymore. My spouse had to come and rescue me from the water. That moment is permanently etched in my mind. After that, I felt I had to do something different to regain my life.”
Ms. Lockett, the mother of two kids, admitted she had gastric sleeve surgery.
In the interview, Ms. Lockett revealed that she gained weight throughout her pregnancy. As a result, she has been diagnosed with hypertension and gestational diabetes.
Ms. Lockett stated, “I also had a poor diet and suffered from binge eating. I would eat as much as possible during the day, followed by two meals and several snacks in the evening.”
