Violence claims 7 more lives in Karachi

Incidents of target killings are once again on the rise in Karachi as seven more people were killed in different parts of the city on Friday.

According to police and Edhi sources, three dead bodied tortured were found from a water tank at Maripur Truck Stand. The deceased were residents of Chakiwara and identified as Ayub, Amis and Waqar.

Some unidentified persons opened fire at a car in North Karachi C51 area and killed a man named Naeem while a woman was shot dead on Sadar. Police have also recovered a huge quantity of explosive material which was hidden in Kachra Kundi area.

Despite massive crackdown on criminal elements by the law enforcement personnel violence continues in Karachi.

In another incident of firing, two people were injured in Sohrab Goth.

A terrorist was also killed in an encounter in Orangi Town.
