In a stunning professional boxing match, Pakistan’s Usman Wazeer defeated Indian boxer Thehlak Selvam in 65 seconds.
The six-round fight, held in a Thai boxing arena, ended almost as soon as it began. Wazeer delivered a decisive punch early in the first round, knocking Selvam to the ground.
Selvam, struggling to regain his footing, was hit with another strong blow and failed to recover.
Observing Selvam’s inability to continue, the referee called off the fight, awarding Wazeer a technical knockout victory.
This win marks Wazeer’s 14th consecutive victory in professional boxing, enhancing his status as an emerging talent in the sport.
Wazeer, who has already claimed the World Youth Title, Asian Title, and Middle East Title, continues to bring pride to Pakistan and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Following his victory, Wazeer took to X (formerly Twitter) to urge the prime ministers of Pakistan and India to promote better bilateral relations. “We all want peace. Share this message and show some love,” he tweeted.
