PM’s Special Assistant on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi meets Acting USAID Administrator Alfonso Lenhardt in Washington.
Acting United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Alfonso Lenhardt has renewed the US commitment to help Pakistan in overcoming the energy crisis.
He expressed these views during a meeting with Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi in Washington.
During the meeting, they reviewed the state of economic cooperation and USAID work and assistance projects in Pakistan.
Alfonso Lenhardt said energy, economic growth, stabilization, education and health are the five priority areas of the USAID’s program in Pakistan.
He assured that U.S. would closely work with all stakeholders on projects which could lead to sustainable development in Pakistan.
He appreciated the economic reforms undertaken by the present government.
Tariq Fatemi expressed deep appreciation for the USAID’s contribution to socio economic development of Pakistan.
