The conference made a strong plea for the repatriation of Muqoob Butt Shaheed and Afzal Guru Shaheed’s remains. Furthermore, it demanded the release of Yasin Malik and other political prisoners. Significantly, it called for global action to address the crises in Palestine.
Participants reiterated demands for the demilitarization of Jammu and Kashmir. They proposed reallocating defence funds to fight poverty and terrorism. Additionally, the idea of an Asian Union, inspired by the EU, emerged as a beacon of hope. This vision aims for a peaceful, independent Kashmir within a united Asia, fostering cooperation between India, Pakistan, and China.
