At the Black Conservative Federation Gala in South Carolina, Donald Trump made a controversial statement, suggesting that his mugshot gained approval from Black Americans. “The Black population,” he claimed, “embraced it more than anybody else.”
Trump, the former U.S. President, attributed his popularity among Black voters to his legal challenges, including multiple indictments, which he dismissed as unfounded and politically motivated. “I got indicted for nothing,” he stated, implying that his experiences resonated with Black Americans familiar with discrimination.
In a separate incident, Fox News cut away from a Trump rally to correct several of his claims live. Anchor Neil Cavuto clarified, “He’s not entitled to his own set of facts,” following Trump’s remarks on the stock market and the 2020 election outcomes.
Additionally, Trump addressed a recent ruling by the Alabama Supreme Court that suspended in-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments. He called on Alabama legislators to “act quickly” to safeguard IVF services, highlighting the situation’s urgency.
