The first trailer of a film showing mountaineer Samina Baig scaling Mt Everest, the first Pakistani woman to do so, has been released.
The film is by Mirza Ali Baig, Samina’s brother, and Bipolar Films in association with Karakorum Expeditions.
The 2:53 minutes long trailer provides a glimpse of the hardships faced by Samina as she made her way to the top of Mt Everest.
The peak was part of a larger feat by Samina, that of scaling the seven highest peaks on seven continents.
The trailer offers a glimpse into the grim determined world of mountaineers and the dangers they have to face.
