At least three individuals were shot dead in Hangu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
DPO Asif Bahadur said that some van passengers got into a heated disagreement, and one pulled out his gun and opened fire. Resulting, Two ladies and a man died, and several sustained injuries.
The DPO said law enforcement has cordoned off the crime scene and begun searching for the culprit. The incident happened near Hangu’s Shanawari.
Initially, it was reported that shots were fired at the bus, but the DPO explained that a brawl caused the incident among passengers.
Wilayat Khan, Deputy Medical Superintendent of DHQ Hospital Hangu, verified the death toll and reported that the injured were receiving medical care.
