Three persons were shot dead in an ambush at the vehicle of a union council chairman in Sheikhupura.
Imran Rehmat Dogar, Chairman of UC Council No. 38 was heading home with his accomplices when assailants stopped his vehicle and opened indiscriminate fire.
According to police officials, Dogar’s two bodyguards and a passerby were killed on the spot whereas seven people, including Dogar, sustained bullet injuries in the shooting incident.
The victims were shifted were shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital Sheikhupura for treatment.
