Thomas Matthew Crooks was identified as the gunman who shot at Donald Trump during a Pennsylvania rally.
According to The New York Post, Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, fired shots from over 130 yards away on a manufacturing plant roof near the Butler Farm Showground. One bullet grazed Trump’s ear during the outdoor event.
Secret Service snipers neutralized Crooks. An AR-style rifle was recovered at the scene.
The motive behind Crooks targeting Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, remains unclear.
