The federal government is planning to oust the chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Aamir Khan.
According to sources, the government is considering naming Akif Saeed as the new SECP chairman and the existing chairman, Aamir Khan, may be appointed as an SECP commissioner.
It is worth noting that interviews for Chairman SECP positions were held, and the government is anticipated to make selections soon.
According to sources, the federal cabinet has approved the names of Akif Saeed, Abdul Rehman Warraich, and Mujtaba Lodhi for the seats.
