The Chairman of the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC) Sahibzada Hamid Raza yesterday announced the council’s support for a ‘grand alliance’ deeming itmandatory for electoral reforms.
Chairman Sahibzada Hamid Raza welcomed the ten-point agenda presented by Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PMLQ) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT). He demanded that the government impose agricultural emergency in the country for five years.
Chairman SIC also demanded that the government should stop the import of cotton, potato, corn and vegetables from India.
He further said that General Sales Tax (GST) on agricultural medicines and machineries should be removed.
