This photograph is that of the original members of the popular Pakistani band Strings . Pictured above are lead vocalist Faisal Kapadia (L) and guitarist Bilal Maqsood (R) along with former Strings synthesiser Rafiq Wazir Ali and bassist Kareem Bashir Bhoy.
Taken in 1989 during the band’s first photo shoot, the picture is a retrospective glance at how the band has crossed many ‘pahar’ to achieve the stature they now hold in the local music industry. At the time, the band, was riding high on the success of their super hit song Sar Kiye Yeh Pahar.
