Special Court to decide PM’s pleas in treason case Today

The member special court bench headed by Justice Faisal Arab and comprising Justice Tahira Safdar and Justice Yawar Ali, constituted to try former military ruler General Pervez Musharraf on high treason charges, will announce  on Friday 21, 2014 whether it will hear the case or the former strongman will be tried by a military court under army act.Musharraf who appeared before the special court in the last hearing on Tuesday avoided indictment on the request of his legal team, pleading that the jurisdiction of the special court should be decided first and the case be referred to a military court..
