Six foreign nationals were discovered deceased in a Bangkok Grand Hayat hotel, prompting Thai Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin to call for a thorough investigation.

Metropolitan Police Bureau Commissioner Thiti Saengsawang confirmed the discovery of three men and three women in a single room on Tuesday.

Initial reports of a shooting were ruled out by the police, who are now exploring other causes of death. Commissioner Saengsawang noted that the presence of suspicious substances might suggest poisoning, as there were no signs of a struggle in the hotel room.
