A never-ending scourge of street crimes plagues Karachi; thus, the Sindh government has contemplated enacting stringent regulations to combat the problem.
The Sindh police and other provincial agencies could not reduce street crime despite their lofty aspirations and various measures. So, finally, the higher authorities devised a clear plan to eradicate the threat.
Ghulam Nabi Memon, Inspector General (IG) of Police for Sindh, and Murtaza Wahab, Advisor to the Chief Minister for Law, met to discuss the rise in street crime in the city. They contemplated new laws against street criminals.
