Karachi: People travelling in public transport continued to suffer as all Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) stations in Sindh remained closed for third consecutive day today.
According to Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), the CNG filling stations in Sindh were closed on Monday for 24 hours, but were closed again on Tuesday due to low gas pressure.
Authorities said the gas will now be available from Thursday morning.
Due to the unannounced gas closure, the number of public transport vehicles on the roads dropped significantly as they could not get CNG.
The situation added to miseries of commuters who were seen waiting for packed bus at crowded bus stops.
