A Sorcerer killed his 20 disciples in Sargodha in the premises of Sufi shrine Muhammad Ali Gujjar on Saturday night.
According to details, the incident took place in the premises of Sufi saint shrine of Muhammad Ali Gujjar, where a Sorcerer named Abdul Waheed drugged his 20 disciples and killed them with the help of knives and batons.
Authorities stated that Abdul Waheed used to call himself a custodian.
Police has arrested five suspects.
The deceased include six members of a family. One of the slain persons had donated a two-acre land to the custodian.
Two women suffered serious injuries and were admitted to district hospital, said Rescue officials.
SP Sargodha Bilal Iftikhar, speaking exclusively with Samaa, said that three suspects have been arrested from the scene, adding that drugs have been confiscated from the room of trustee of Shrine.
An investigation team has been formed to investigate the brutal incident and have been ordered to submit the probe report within 24 hours.
Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif has directed Auqaf & Religious Affairs Minister Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri to reach the crime scene. (PhotoNews / Samaa News)
