In a recent armed clash in the Lyari area of Karachi, four gang members were fatally shot by rangers personnel in the Jumman Shah Plot area of Lyari, a locality known for its high crime rate.

The rangers’ spokesperson provided details of the encounter, highlighting the criminal backgrounds of the deceased individuals. Among the four, one identified as Sheharyar had a particularly notorious record, being implicated in the murders of approximately 20 to 25 individuals. Another, known as Sanaullah, was similarly involved in around 20 killings.

Liaquat, another gang member involved in the encounter, was associated with 15 to 20 homicides. The identity of the fourth individual involved in this incident remains unknown. This operation marks a significant action in the ongoing efforts to combat organized crime and gang violence in Karachi.
