The Liaquatabad Women’s Police Station Karachi, Station House Officer (SHO) Tasneem Iqbal is accused of subjecting a woman, Kiran Naz, and her daughter to several hours of naked confinement and abuse.
According to Naz, the ordeal started when unruly youths invaded her home and held them captive. She alleges that these individuals, in collusion with Liaquatabad Women’s Police SHO Tasneem Iqbal, subsequently had them summoned to the police station, where they were detained and subjected to mistreatment.

Karachi Police Chief Javed Alam Odho has responded by thoroughly investigating these serious allegations. This incident marks another serious claim of power misuse against SHO Tasneem Iqbal, who was suspended for related offences.
The Police Chief assured the public that no misconduct towards citizens would be tolerated. Investigations into the incident are currently underway.
