Senior Minister and Sindh Transport Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon inaugurated a new Peoples Bus Service route from Hawkes Bay to Tower on Monday.
“Through initiatives like these, the Sindh government aims to provide relief to the public,” said Sharjeel Memon at the launch. “This new route from Mauripur to Tower offers affordable, air-conditioned travel options.”
The Sindh Transport Department previously announced the addition of three new routes for the Peoples Bus Service in Karachi. Minister Memon detailed that the services, starting on July 22, include the Hawkes Bay to Tower route and an extension of Route 12.
Starting July 23, the service will expand from Qaidabad, Korangi, and Memon Goth to Tower, adjusting the earlier route from Khokharapar. Moreover, an electric bus route from Kathore to Numaish will launch on July 24, followed by a route from Yousuf Goth to the Tower beginning on July 25.
The minister emphasized that these expansions enhance affordable transportation options for Karachi’s citizens.
Responding to media inquiries, Memon confidently stated, “Despite negative speculation, I assure you that this system and our government will prevail. Despite the challenges, Pakistan will progress.”
