Sindh Information Minister and leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Sharjeel Memon, was discharged from the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD), Hyderabad.
After recovering from a heart attack on January 19, following a cardiac arrest, the minister was transported to the National Institute of Cardio-Vascular Diseases (NICVD), Hyderabad.
Two of Memon’s coronary arteries were blocked, according to medical professionals at NICVD, but angioplasty and angiography procedures had already been done on him to treat the condition.
Memon’s arteries had been opened up with the help of two cardiac stents. The PPP leader was released from the hospital after hospital staff deemed his condition stable.
