Pakistan’s Shahzaib Rind defeated Brazilian Luiz Victor Rocha to clinch the Karate Combat KC-49 Championship in Singapore. Rind maintained an unbeaten record throughout the tournament.
On his Instagram, the 26-year-old fighter celebrated the victory, posting, “Dream Came True” alongside a photo with the championship belt.
Rind praised his coach’s comprehensive support—physical, emotional, and training—referring to him as “not just a coach, but a brother and mentor.”
Rabia Shafiq, Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Singapore, commended Rind for his achievement. On her X account, she celebrated his victory and encouraged Pakistanis to continue their support, expressing hope for his success.
As an accomplished MMA fighter, Rind has previously won Karate Combat in the United States and is a six-time national champion.
Speaking to Express Tribune, Rind shared his future ambitions: “My ultimate goal is to become a world champion, or at least be on the brink of achieving it.”
