Senator Faisal Vawda has demanded proof for the allegations, labelling him a proxy during his appearance on the ARY News program ‘Aitraaz Hai.’
Vawda defended his right to respond to accusations, questioning whether silence was expected in the face of such claims.
Asserting the necessity for accusers to provide evidence, Vawda declared his willingness to appear before an “honest Chief Justice” on June 5th, appreciating the chance to present his case to a credible bench.
He also shared personal hardships, explaining that despite his mother being bedridden, his legal matters were overlooked, and fines were unjustly imposed. He expressed frustration over the lack of legal consideration, noting that if the Senate were in session, he would have addressed these grievances directly to the chamber, emphasizing that judges must abide by the law before making accusations.
Vawda concluded by expressing his respect for the judiciary’s decision and affirming his readiness to apologize if the Supreme Court judges prove his fault.
