Scarsdale International School is an elite private school in Lahore. An investigation was started after authorities became aware of a video.
Three teenage girls are seen pinning their classmate to the ground while holding her by the hair in the video, which has gone viral on Twitter.
The alleged victim is overheard being verbally abused by the group and told to “say sorry.”. A second girl can be seen giving the girl a boot to the forehead, and a third is seen filming the incident on her phone.
The father of the victim, Imran Younis, filed a First Information Report (FIR). He claimed that three classmates assaulted his daughter after she refused to use drugs.
The father claimed in the FIR that one of the girls was a boxer who kicked his daughter in the face and another who punched his daughter. He claimed that the attack traumatized his daughter and that the now-viral video further tormented him and his family.
Regarding the reason behind the attack on his daughter, Mr. Imran claimed that the main suspect was a drug user who “had offered my daughter a dose of a drug to inhale in the school, which my daughter refused to do.”. He also claimed that the assailants took his daughter’s locket and a gold chain during the attack.
