The Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) has sealed a dental clinic owned by Dr. Arif Alvi, the former president of Pakistan.
Reports indicate that the clinic, situated in the Sindhi Muslim Cooperative Housing Society (SMCHS), operated out of a residential bungalow, which contributed to its closure.
Assistant Director Shakeel Jamali led the enforcement action. According to SBCA officials, the clinic’s location within a residential property contravened local building regulations, which mandate the separation of commercial and residential activities. This infraction necessitated the authority sealing the premises.
As of now, the SBCA has not released further details regarding the specifics of the violation or any forthcoming legal proceedings that might be initiated due to this enforcement action. The situation remains under review, and additional information may become available as the case progresses.
