Islamabad: The Prime Minister Office on Friday advised President of Pakistan to defer execution of Saulat Mirza by for one month.
Mirza was scheduled to be hanged on April 1st in Machh jail of Balochistan. This would be the second likely deferment since his controversial video surfaced early this month.

According to sources, Prime Minister Office has sent a recommendation summary to the President of Pakistan to defer his execution by one more month.
Mirza was sentenced to death by an anti-terrorism for killing Managing Director of Karachi Electric Supply Corporation –now K-Electric– Shahid Hamid, his driver Ashraf Brohi, and security guard Khan Akbar in a July 1997 shooting.
His execution was earlier scheduled for March 19 was postponed for 72 hours apparently on ‘health reasons’ following his shocking video statement.
