Chairman of Difa-e-Pakistan Council Maulana Sami-ul-Haq has rejected PML(N) allegations and said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan has not invited them to be a part of his sit-in at Islamabad on 2nd November
After meeting in Islamabad, Haq talking to media said “The decision of joining the protest will be made following consultations if PTI invites us,”
Criticizing government policies for the implementation of NAP said that government is including the names of the religious clerics in the Fourth Schedule of the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA) instead of criminal elements and blocking the National Identity Cards (NIC) of the people is against the constitution.
Haq demanded the government to remove the restrictions placed on the religious political parties.
Haq said that the appointment of foreign minister is necessary and a foreign policy should also be devised in the wake of the prevailing situation. Haq stated that Afghan refugees are being shown as Pakistan’s enemies in order to please the United States.
He also urged for the appointment of the new army chief according to the law.
