The first images and footage of the suspect accused of assaulting Saif Ali Khan in his Bandra residence have emerged. Khan reportedly suffered six stab wounds, with injuries to his hand, neck, and spine.
The suspect accessed the area by climbing over a wall adjacent to Khan’s building and entered through a fire escape after ascending the rear stairs.
Captured on CCTV at 2:33 am on Thursday, the suspect was seen in a t-shirt and jeans, carrying a backpack and an orange scarf.

The footage reveals him descending the stairs, directly facing the camera.
Eliyama Phillipes, known as Lima, Khan’s house help, first spotted and alerted Khan to the intruder. Khan attempted to fend off the attacker, who stabbed him multiple times, injuring him and two other house staff.
Khan underwent emergency surgery at Lilavati Hospital for a knife embedded in his spine, where Dr. Nitin Dange reported him stable post-surgery, with significant injuries to his thoracic spinal cord managed.
The investigation into the incident categorises it under robbery, trespass, and severe assault during a break-in.
Mumbai Police, with eight detective teams and the Crime Branch, are intensively investigating.
