‘A Rendezvous from Pakistan’, designer Mini Bindra’s latest collection under her Rubaaiyat label, fuses traditional Indian needlework such as the Lucknavi chikankari, Ari and Zariembroidery with Benarasi brocade and block prints.
The ensembles comprise subtle designs and delicate screen prints, embroideries and embellishments.
Bindra has made sure to use lively designs and vibrant colour themes on materials such as cotton and karandi to raw silk and chiffon with embroidery patti and panel.
