Senior Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader, Farooq Sattar, insisted that Karachi Ranger and Police have seized at least 10,000 hides from the party’s collectors.
MQM leader while talking to popular local news channel “Samaa Tv” said “Despite the fact that we have signed a code of conduct and have been given permission in written, there are reports of arrests in Gulistan-e-Jauhar, North Karachi, Landi and Korangi… I appeal to the Prime Minster and army chief to take notice of this situation,”
MQM leader rejected allegations of forcefully collecting the hides of sacrificial animals.
Farooq Sattar claimed that law-enforcers have seized more than 10,000 hides collected by MQM and it welfare organization, Khidmat-e-Khalq Foundation (KKF) at different collection points in the city.
