Sindh Rangers has launched a new mobile application to protect schools and colleges in Karachi.
In a press conference in Karachi here on Saturday, Col Qaiser of Rangers said that approximately, 3000 schools have already been registered under the new application named ‘Rangers School College Protection’.
Briefing on the specification of the app Qaiser said the application has been specially designed to protect educational institutions from any potential threats.
According to Qaiser, Karachi has been divided into 60 areas and Rangers will be deployed round the clock. Principals of the schools registered under this application will be able to generate a quick message in case of any threat.
He said that media houses and police would also be registered soon.
Adviser to Sindh Chief Miniser, Maula Bux Chandio praised Rangers’ application as a good step.
“We are proud of our law enforcement agencies and always appreciate their positive steps for the security of citizens,” he said.
