Qatar Airways will showcase its human-like AI cabin crew, Sama 2.0, at the annual Dubai World Trade Centre exhibition. The event runs from May 6 to 9, 2024, in Hall No.2 of the Qatari Airways pavilion.
Attendees of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai will have the opportunity to meet and engage with this innovative second-generation AI-powered cabin crew.
Sama 2.0 will interact with visitors, answering real-time questions to help design personalized travel experiences. During the event, it will also provide information on frequently asked questions, destinations, and support tips.
Additionally, Qatar Airways’ customers can interact with Sama 2.0 virtually via the airline’s digital platform, QVerse, or app.
Interestingly, humanoid robots have been in the spotlight for years. Notably, Sophia, another humanoid robot, gained attention when Saudi Arabia granted it citizenship in 2017, a global first.
