Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly members will verify their resignations in the Parliament on Wednesday.
The PTI members, led by the party’s vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi, will appear in front of NA speaker Ayaz Sadiq today and verify their resignations that were submitted to him earlier.
PTI has decided its party chairman Imran Khan will not verify his resignation in front of the speaker.
It should be noted that PTI lawmakers had announced to resign from the National and provincial assemblies except Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to protest against the alleged rigging in 2013 general elections.
