The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) demanded on Wednesday the formation of a judicial commission to investigate the attack on Central Information Secretary Raoof Hasan.
On Tuesday, a group of trans persons attacked the PTI leader in the federal capital, striking him in the face with a blade.

Ayub stated that the attackers used a sharp weapon, causing severe injuries on one side of Hasan’s body. “Fortunately, Raoof Hasan survived this life-threatening attack,” Ayub said. He added that the party rejected the first information report (FIR) lodged by Islamabad Police.
He claimed “deliberate attempts to undermine the integrity of the case” and said external parties influenced the case. He lamented that the FIR “intentionally” omits the charge of terrorism despite the incident being an “act of terror.”
“Since the ouster of Imran Khan’s government, PTI has faced injustice after injustice,” Hasan stated. He described the current situation as “a dictatorship under the facade of democracy.”
After the attack, Hasan was taken to a hospital and later discharged. The incident was raised in the Senate by PTI Senator Shibli Faraz, who called it “unacceptable” during a session.
