President Joe Biden expressed concerns about the potential unrest surrounding the upcoming November election in the United States. While he affirmed his confidence in the integrity of the electoral process, he indicated uncertainty about the likelihood of a peaceful outcome.

During his first appearance in the White House briefing room, Biden told reporters, “I’m confident it will be free and fair. I don’t know whether it will be peaceful. ” This statement highlighted the unpredictable nature of the election’s aftermath.

This apprehension stems from previous remarks made by Republican contender Donald Trump, who has been vocal in his dissatisfaction with past election results. Biden referenced Trump’s contentious response to electoral outcomes, emphasizing the potential risk it poses.

Biden says he is concerned about what will happen if Republicans don't like the outcome of the election, telling reporters "I'm confident it will be free and fair. I don't know whether it will be peaceful."

“The things that Trump has said and the things that he said last time out when he didn’t like the election’s outcome were very dangerous,” Biden remarked, underscoring his concerns about the rhetoric that could incite conflict following the election.

This candid exchange marked a significant moment in Biden’s presidency. He publicly addressed the possible challenges facing the nation’s democratic processes in the upcoming election.
