Karachi: Police raided the city’s Pak Colony area and set fire to drug dens as suspects who were in charge of them fled from the area.
According to details, when police raided the area, all suspects fled at once. Police sources revealed that scores of people came to the drug dens, most of them drug addicts.
Police further revealed that Bilal Pappu, Jabir, Baloch and Haji Kashif were running the drug spots and were in charge of everything. The suspects had taken hold of the drug dens after the arrest of Riyasat Baloch.
Riyasat Baloch used to be a member of the Uzair Baloch gang and had earlier admitted to law enforcement agencies that he had killed several policemen. Riyasat Baloch had also disclosed that he used to extort money from owner’s of marble factories and also used to be involved in drug cartels.
