The para military rangers killed a key member of TTP Zuhair alias Salman, during a joint operation of police and the rangers in Musharraf Colony, Karachi.
According to the rangers spokesman the terrorist killed last night belonged to the TTP’s Maulvi Khalid group . He also added that hand grenades and weapons including SMGs were recovered from the possession.
The rangers spokesman said also a hit-list was also found from the possession of Zubair , which consist of names of several political leaders. The hit-list include Farooq Sattar and Hyder Abbas Sattar of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Bashir Jan of Awami National Party (ANP) and Faisal Raza Abdidi.
The rangers spokesman said the terrorist killed over 15 personnel of Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps (FC) in Waziristan. Later on, he fled to Karachi. The terrorist, Zuhair, was wanted in the killing of Dr. Dilip Kumar.
