The Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) agreed to provide applicants who took the Medical and Dental College Admission Test with additional points (MDCAT).
Dr. Noshad Ahmad Shaikh, head of the Pakistan Medical Commission, stated that at the PMC’s meeting, it was determined that grace marks would be awarded for incorrect questions and those that were off-topic.
The PMC has communicated the directives to the vice-chancellors of all participating universities.
In one week, the commission will reveal the entire MDCAT findings.
The PMC stated that approximately 0.204 million applicants took the MDCAT through federal and provincial public colleges a day earlier.
According to Dr. Noshad, 204,253 young people took the exam, including 203,794 across the country and 461 in the UAE and Saudia Arabia.
The minimal passing score on the paper-based MDCAT is 65 for medical school entrance and 55 for dentistry school admission.
