Islamabad: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has left for Belarus on a three-day official visit today (Monday).
PM Nawaz is visiting Belarus on the invitation of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko. The Premier will have a one-on-one meeting with Lukashenko followed by delegation-level talks.
Belarus President had visited Pakistan in May this year.
During his visit he will meet the Prime Minister of Belarus while meetings with Chairman of the House of Representatives and Chairman of the Council of the Republic are also scheduled.
The Belarusian State University will confer an honourary Doctorate Degree upon the Prime Minister.
The President of Belarus and the Prime Minister of Pakistan will also inaugurate joint Pak-Belarus Business Forum.
A number of important agreements and MoUs are likely to be signed during the visit. The Prime Minister is scheduled to visit top Belarusian industrial units as well.
He will also participate in Pakistan-Belarus Business and Investment Forum.
